Aim<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Our aim for these ‘Science Topics’<\/strong> pages is for them to serve as a type of reference appendix<\/strong> for the posts on our Blog<\/strong>. Our entries in these pages are not intended to be encyclopedic, either in terms of the range of subjects or the completeness of content of any particular entry. The pages generally contain links to external web sites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inspiration<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Our inspiration for these pages was sparked by our desire to reference science content featured or mentioned in our Blog Posts<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the beginning, the source of topics originated from Barrie Cameron<\/a><\/strong>‘s science fiction<\/a><\/strong> novels<\/a> (i.e. ‘Planetoid Trilogy<\/strong>‘<\/em>: ‘Star Island<\/strong>‘<\/em>, ‘Three Fates<\/strong>‘<\/em>, and ‘Phoenix<\/strong>‘<\/em>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have since expanded the range of topics to include references for our other science related posts<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Book and Chapter reference code<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

You can distinguish the book related posts from the others by the presence, or otherwise, of a Book and Chapter reference code<\/strong> at the beginning of the Post<\/strong> (e.g. “[Blog<\/a> ST Ref: PT-B1-C3-220610<\/a>]”).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
